Maysville – Martha S. Campbell age 80 of Valley View, Maysville, died Monday Morning April 9, 2012 at her home.
She was born July 24, 1931 in Mason County to the late James and Edna Striblin Phillips.
Mrs. Campbell was married for 45 years to the late Benjamin F. Campbell, Jr. and spent her life assisting him with his life’s work of farming until his death May 7, 1996.
She is survived by her three daughters Barbara (Ken) Boone of Maysville whom she made her home with, Jane (Kenny) Hunt of Flemingsburg and Carol Workman of Mt. Olivet, six grandchildren Jennifer Wisecup, Kim Mullikin, J. R. Hunt, John Franklyn Workman, Lisa Highlander, and Jason Workman and fourteen great grandchildren.
Martha also leaves two sisters Lula Campbell of Aberdeen, Ohio, Carol Bowens of Chillicothe, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six sisters Frances Campbell, Marie Phillips, Ann Roush, Mary Campbell, Dorothy Bowens, Charlotte Holbrook and two brothers Stanley and Wayne Phillips.
Services for Martha Campbell will be 2 pm Thursday April 12, 2012 at Brell & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Shannon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service.
