how can we do anything by polls ? example/i voted twice in the casino poll ,all you gotta do is clear your cache and log in again ,vote ,,,,,repeat ,,,over and over in a matter of minutes ,,not saying i did it to be unfair ,but just to see if i could ,,some people will no doubt ! so whats the point of polls? they are not a accurate account of the votes ,did we not learn this from the pit bull ban poll?the only way for them to be a honest account would be to have every one that votes in a poll have to leave their log on name and date and time they voted (and then they could still log on under another name ),other wise polls are like pulling a rabbit outta the hat,,probably be fairer that way !!just had to let every one know how you can vote all you want in a online poll to make the out come to your liking!thats my opinion ,every one has their own ,i just could not let it go with out informing people that polls online are not always correct ,,,,and by the way if you are OK with polls knowing this ,,then I'm OK with you being OK with it ,,,,,,i just know they can be fixed and now you do to ,,,,have a good day :confused:

I have said this in the past and will say it again. Polls are strictly for entertainment. The are not accurate. They can be made to be more accurate but never 100%. Polls that make claims of accuracy are only accurate to the people that take the poll.

Example would be that the Pit Bull Ordnance poll should ONLY be taken by people the live in the City of Maysville because they are the only ones that are affected. It is impossible to narrow that down or control it to that extreme on the Internet. People like yourself should not be taking the poll as the Ordnance did not affect you or you dog.

All online poll are subject to the same possible errors. People in Japan, Australia, China Iraq, Iran or any other Country can take part in the most Internet polls.

If you need something more accurate then you need to setup a committee. Go door to door and poll the people individually.

What good are they? They are good for a general guideline. A simple opinion of the people along with the posts they make, if they all post.

In answer to you Thread Title, "Polls Are Fix" they are not. That would imply that the people that set up the polls are corrupt.

Chuck is right they are for entertainment purposes only! The poll could be 100% in either direction and the poll would have two squirts of monkey spit on the outcome of the subject of the poll.
However I was under the impression that only registered users could vote on the polls seeing as how only registered users can make posts on forums but I dont guess its set up that way.
