Oh yeah its a good thing I am gladd I was nominated. Thanks for the nomination.

A few reasons.

1. I didnt start the blog to get casino cash!
2. I dont play in the casino except a few times. I usually give my cash to kdown or mom 36
3. If I am correct the top 5 were chosen from who had the most views. I remember seeing a lot of views on my 3 part titled To The (Citizens of Maysville Mason County) I would be willing to bet the majority of people that clicked on it to view it thought it was something of a big announcement from Maysville and Mason County officials and not a 3 part story about how I found studies of breed bans stupid.
4. Someone who actually wanted the casino cash and wrote a good blog should have the oppertunity to win it not me!!


If I cant be removed, and if I do win, can I donate the winnings to charity? Would KDOWN and MOM36 be considered charity?

Unfortunately I too need to be removed from the poll- although I am thrilled with the votes I have received (thank you !!)- I am pretty certain my blog did not follow 'the rules' that were listed for the challenge, I did initially start the blog for the cash, but soon decided I just liked to do it . I don't go to the casino much either and I actually tried to give money away at one point ( I had zero takers) . So I am out of the running.

I will however be back to posting - I still have issues with my connection and I don't think they will be resolved until we have a completely new connection ( a
new address for that matter ) My IP was very helpful (and pleasant) trying to fix the problem but it keeps happening anyway......

I liked the Idea of the competition. I now wish I had not started the drop out trend. But I still dont want to be a candidate.

I really only based my dropping out on the rules of the challenge- I can't find the thread to quote it - but I am pretty sure it said something about posting everyday and it having to do with the surrounding area in which we live (?)

Am I mistaken Chuck ?

Rules in Chuck's Words:

"Start a blog in the Maysville Blogger with Mason, Bracken, Fleming, Lewis, Brown or Adams County content and maintain that blog for at least 30 days.

The blog can be any family oriented theme, topic, event or basically about anything."

I think Chuck started this contest more to promote the new blogging feature and not as anything major. As for the prize, since it's not real money (I wish) then whoever wins can just share if they like. You still have the donate link in the casino.
