New principal at Mason County Middle School

Did you hear that there will be a new interim principal at MCMS this coming school year? A friend of mine told me that Kermit Belcher was appointed to this position since Mrs. Cook, the principal, would be out sick....Wonder how that will work out??

I'd say it will work out fine because you could never get in touch with Mrs. Cook anyway. I usually had to deal with the vice to do anything anyway.

It was my understanding that Mrs. Cook was retiring, not just taking some kind of sick leave.

Kermit Belcher would do well as an interim if this is true then.

Mrs. Cook has gone through pneumonia at least three times over the past several months and currently is unable to return to her duties. I'm sure Mr. Belcher will do a fine job in her absence. As far as not being able to reach her at the school as was mentioned in an earlier post, I find that hard to believe. Unless she is out of the building she is always willing to talk with anyone who calls for her.
