I need to get a part time job but I would like one that carries medical benefits for myself and my spouse. I know there are some jobs in town or close by that fit my criteria I just don't know where. Does anyone have a list of places that are close by Maysville that are hiring part time workers right now and have the benefits? I don't care if it is factory or office work. I type fast and know how to use pretty much any computer program; I'm also not afraid of hard work and am very strong.
So... help? :)
Thanks in advance!

I would say try the Temp offices in town and the unemployment office. Nesco is in the same building as State Farm Agent Bill Boggs across the street from Lee's Famous Recipe and Kelly Services is out in Washington across from the Bingo hall and the Unemployment office is downtown on 2nd street. Good luck in your search, but I don't think many places offer benefits for part time employees.

I think the hospital offers benefits to part-time employees. Call the HR department and check.

I doubt you'll find a part time job with benefits. Tough call.

It's not uncommon for benefits for a family to cost about $1,500 per month. That's what they were for my wife's last job; her employer paid 75% of that (it was good insurance, though). I would guess for just a husband and wife it would be more like $1,000 per month.
If you're working half time, that comes out to $12.50 per hour. Assuming you pay 25 percent of that, your prospective employer would have an up-front cost of $9.37 per hour just for your insurance. That's a pretty high barrier to providing health coverage for part-time workers.
Not saying it can't be done, though.

Good luck. It's hard to even find a full-time job that offers benefits anymore. Or just a full-time job for that matter.
good luck in your search, I have been looking for a couple of months now.
I don't think that Nesco offers insurance, but I know that they are always hiring for factory help. The office jobs there are really hard to come by! K-mart hires part time help a lot also. I am not sure about the benefits, seems like that they mentioned them when I worked there....

Good Luck in your search, but don't give up.
