Kentucky released 75 inmates as part of a program approved by the General Assembly to reduce prison overcrowding.

The inmates were released during the past week. Those released this week were imprisoned throughout the Kentucky system.

The legislature also reduced the parole eligibility time for inmates convicted of non-violent, non-sexual felonies.

execute them, it's cheaper than keeping them in jail and better than letting them run loose!

I really don't have much issue with early release for non-violent criminals. They need to pay their debt with community service and payback of any money they have stolen. Child predators should never be released.

I question early release for anyone incarcerated, for starters what did they do in the first place? Why do we have laws to put someone in jail in the first place, then say, oh well what you did wasn’t that bad. Did these people have a jury trial? If they did what do we say to the people who served on the jury?
