Are there any other Limestone Cable subscribers getting bad reception on the high def channels. Our cable goes through the Motorola box and the CBS stations are difficult to watch. It's as if someone is hitting the pause button and then hitting play. CBS station seem to be the worst, doesn't matter if you watch WKYT (Lexington) or WKRC (Cincinnati).

I have had the same problem since moving here in December. I called them but they said all the local channels on HD would continue to be a problem but they can increase your signal. It has helped a little but not much.

Same here. Kinda frustrating when you record a show and it's pretty much unwatchable. At least when you're home, you have a chance to switch to an analog channel to watch it. If it's available on the analog channel.

I have the same issues. It is nice to know it isn't my tv or dvd recorder, I am having trouble with the channels just disappearing it is a blank screen... I can't even tune in new fx hd channel or fx. I have tried everything I know to do guess I will need to contact the Limestone Cablevision.

I was told by the cable company that it would be like that untill Feb. 2009 when they have to have a perm. signal output, right now the broadcasters can change it around as far has power and location, ever had HD12 switch places with the
CW channel?

I'm not sure if this a local problem, but I read in PC World there are a problems country wide with HD from a lot of cable companies. Has something to do with compressing the signals to fit more channels through the coax going to your TV. And that's just one aspect of it. I'm not sure what causes the rhythmic dropouts that I see at times. Or a show that slowly goes unwatchable for a few minutes and then slowly becomes watchable. That and some channels seem to be more prone to problems than others. I'm sure they're working on it. I hope so, as the "backup" analog channels will be gone before long. But then again, once they are gone, that might free up "space" on the cable for a better signal. Sometimes, less really is more.
