Are you ready for some ice cream?

Visit the new Chicken Feed Cafe.

The ice cream shop in Old Washington is open Wednesday thru Sunday 11 to 4.

Harry Kozorski has the Row House Mall Café up and running with real hard packed ice cream cones, shakes, floats, banana splits and more.

With the hot summer days fast approaching, this should be on the must visit list.

The café also serves soup, sandwiches, and of course, desserts al a mode.

It's nice to see new shops opening in Old Washington....
Now we ALL just need to remember to patronize them!

It's nice to see an ice cream shop open. Maysville is the only place I know of in the entire world where one can't buy ice cream.

The store hours surprise me. If you want to take the kids for a cone after school, you really need to rush. I hope the flavors will be like those at Baskin & Robins or a Bruster's.

With school almost being over it shouldn't be a problem. I think he might be going to stay open some extended hours once the ball season starts up at the Rec. Park so you will be able to some down and get ice cream, sundays, milkshakes. and homemade desserts. Everything I've had from there has been really good. Come on out and give it a try.

Glad he's also making more than ice cream. I would only be able to stand around and drool on the glass if he wasn't :)

Spreading the word now!

Speaking of atmosphere, here are some additional photos I didn't use in my original post.

I have had their Homemade: Chicken salad, egg salad, BLT, pecan cake, chocolate cake & heated cherry pie - everything was great! Today's special was grilled cheese and homemade soup or chili for $3. Always 2 hot dogs for $2.50, side salad & lot of other sides $1. Get lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle and chips with sandwich. Homemade cincinnamon rolls for the Delta Queen yesterday. Their sit down dining room has Rosemary, Nick & George Clooney items on all the walls. Really nice people running it too.
