Not that Im proud or anything....lol... I just thought that it was so neat that you could get such a clear picture at 10 weeks....My due date is October 21,... I thought the face came out really clear although since I didnt scan this picture but took it with my phone it is a little blurry, but you can still clearly see the face....My son asked " Mommy are you having an alien?"......lol...

I'm with you son on that one. Looks like an Alien trying slip out of the Black Hole in outer space.
Just kidding. Congratulations, you're a good person and you will make a terrific Mother,,, again.

I'm so jealous! My oldest is 21 and her picture looks like..well something. The doctor circled her "head" but it looks more like a glop in a lava lamp.
Congratulations to both you and Bengals.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH!!!!!
Oh and so glad it is you all and not me. My youngest will be 16 in 14 days. I thought it was bad when my daughter turned 16 but having a boy on the road will drive me NUTS. Oh I'm sorry I am nuts. Guess not much will change then.
Hope both of you have easy and complication free pregnancies. Oh and by the way if you are planning on having your babies at Meadowview make sure you come in with plenty of time to make it to the 3rd floor cause I don't deliver babies. LOL

Thanks this ultrasound was from lex. Had a blood test come back suggesting that this baby had down syndrome. Down at Dr. Campbell's office he is a high risk ob. they look for markers. This baby didnt have any of the down "markers". Should have a healthy baby.

Being 35 when I got pregnant they dubbed me a 'high risk' pregnancy from the start............... they said all kinds of things that scared the pants off of me.
I figured I'd love my baby no matter what the outcome, and started to just listen to what they were saying but tried not to let it interfere with my happiness. They even said he was going to be just huge, could get stuck coming out ........... he was 5lbs 10 oz
I think I had 5 u/s and the last one is a shot of his face close up- looked just like him when he (finally) arrived.
Good luck and think positive, the baby can feel your moods !!!

Mrs. D - I have heard stories such as yours from other women who have been scared throughout their pregnancy with inaccurate information. One lady said she was told she was going to have a very large baby and the baby ended up weighing 7 lbs. I also bought a beautiful pink knit dress for the granddaughter of a lady who worked for me. Her daughter had several ultra sounds and was told she was having a girl. The lady called me at home on a Saturday and said "do you remember that little girl Dawn was having? well she turned out to be a boy named Jason." Luckily she did have a daughter a couple of years later.

They told me that I was going to have a big boy and did I ever. A whopping 9lb. one at that. But he was the best baby. Slept and ate all the time. Good Luck to the both of you. Wish I had never got my tubes tied I'd had a housefull. LOL

I have been very lucky that what they told me I was going to have I have had. With the first they told me they couldnt tell but when I got home and watched the video you could clearly tell it was a boy. Then with the 2nd. I went to the same place in lex. and they pointed to 3 lines and said it was a girl and they said they dont tell unless they are very sure. I took there word for it because I didnt see anything sticking up. lol... Then with this one she put the parts lol.. up on the screen and said so what do you think I said its a boy and she said yeh that one was easy...

The new ultrasound machines are amazing! I wish I would have been able to have gotten one when I was pregnant with my daughter! They were going to let the students practice using it on me at one of the hospitals I used to work at but, I got too busy and they didn't get to. :( Anyway, glad to hear that you have had your perfectly beautiful little boy and best wishes for you and your family.

Yep, that Kayson is a definite keeper & he has 2 cute siblings to help out & teach him the ropes. Keep us updated with those pictures!
Sorry to hear about the recent loss in your family. (I can relate to that as a few years ago my family buried five close family members in seven months.) God will get you through this & I will keep you in my prayers.
