Highland Christian Church-Mason Co. Red Cross

Thanks to area businesses and individuals who made the Highland Christian Church's lunch benefit for the Mason County Red Cross Chapter such a HUGE success on Monday. Church members donated and assembled over 400 lunches on Sunday night for delivery to area businesses at lunch on Monday. Over $3300 was raised to help support our local Red Cross Chapter. In case you didn't know, our local chapter is in danger of closing at the end of June unless $15,000 is raised. What a shame it would be for us to lose our chapter! Thanks again to all who showed their support! Highland Christian Church and the Red Cross truly appreciate it! God Bless!

$ 3300 in one day... Excelent Thank you Highland Christian Church. I am not in any way affiliated with the RED CROSS but has a citizen of this area I am glad to see you supporting the RED CROSS. I hope I never need them but I like knowing that they are there if I ever do!!!

People put you minds together and see what else we can do. $3300 is far from $15,000 and we only have 3 months left.

The Aberdeen Chapter of the Red Cross responded to help a family in need because of a fire at 511 Florence in Maysville today.

Does anyone know why the family would not have been helped by the Mason County Chapter of the Red Cross?
