Benelli autoloaders use an inertia system, rather than gas, to operate the action.
Their Super Black Eagle handles shells from 2-3/4" up to 3-1/2", and there are no gas ports to keep clean.

Benellis have a good reputation and a unique style that blends angles with curves for a shotgun like no other.

The AR-15A3 tactical carbine is the answer to all the requirements of modern law enforcement.

What'cha gonna do when they (http://www.maysville-online.com/articles/2008/03/09/local_news/1524sheriff.txt)come for you with these guys?

What brand of AR-15 did they buy? I like those guns. What they really needed was the AR-10. That way they could shoot through the trunk of a car loaded with stolen copper. As far as shotguns go, the Benelli is a good gun. But give me a Browning Auto-5. The original semi auto shotgun. Too heavy for police work, but light on the shoulder.
