Wal-Mart is closing

Just heard that Wal-Mart is closing at 7p EST tonite. No reason was given, but I suspect they're having network or computer problems.

I went there, and spent nearly 30 minutes in line, due to the gent in front of me, having problems with them taking a check, then his credit card wouldn't go though!

What's worse, is that I got a card to get gas at Murphy Oil, and the manager had to go though 3 different cards to get on that would work for me.

Then (here's the fun part) I had to fight the gas pumps to take that card. Went to 2 different pumps before it'd work.

Oh, BTW Burger King is also closed due to the weather, as well as Kroger's deli.

Ain't this weather a real joy? :)

yes alot of places are closed in town and what about forest avenue it is a mes most of the side streets in maysville are way better than forest avenue i went on orangeburg road and it was clean has anybody else noticed this

I called about an hour ago because my niece needed to go out to Wal-mart and they told me they were closing at 8 o'clock. I hope they didn't change the time because I would hate for her to waste a trip out there.

My Mom works at Sam's Club up in Eastgate, Ohio. She had to call off yesterday and was told many other had as well. This weather is definitely taking it's toll on the businesses, but the kids are loving it!
