This site was passed along to me. Found alot of Death Certs in Ohio I needed. Good for other locations, not just Ohio. Registration is required and their site is FREE. It's a part of the LDS Family Search.

You should also try kygenweb.net Scroll down to vital statistics. You can search deaths by name, county of residence, county of death and date, I believe.
