Tractors, Farming Machinery and Trailers are only a few of the items you will see at this weeks Farm Auction Sale @ Kentucky King Tobacco Whse.

I did a walk trough and found a sharp looking Motor Home I want to talk the little woman in to letting me bid on. Then there was a large yellow Backhoe I would love to have.

This is the Warehouse behind Jubilee on Forest Ave and the sale is held INDOORs for those of us that don't want to get too cold.

Come on down and I hope to see you there.

I was thinking the Rotary sale was supposed to be held this Saturday at Chuck Marshall's lot on #11. Maybe Eldon Ginn is having one soon. He owns the building and has several sales each year.

Eldon Ginn would not hold a sale with a conflicting date. ie: the Rotary Club sale today.

My uncle is the auctioneer at the Rotary Club one. I don't know why anyone would want to do that out in this weather...lol

The Rotary Club sale had a surprisingly big crowd today, 200-300 people. Although there were fewer items at the sale this year because Mr. Ginn chose to schedule his sale on the same weekend that the Rotary Club has had its sale for decades, the sale did pretty darn well.

Thanks to all of those who attended. All of the money raised go to support charitable efforts in the community instead of being for private profit.

Yeah, Mr Ginn scheduled his sale for the same day as the Rotary sale - the proceeds of which go back into the community unlike Mr. Ginns which go into his pocket- but Ginn cancelled his INDOOR sale due to weather. Rotarians were out in the cold and snow doing what they said they would- holding a farm equipment sale. Next year support the Rotary Farm sale!
