$100,000 a year for new cancer drug and it does not increase how long you will live.
What is up with our government. Should we follow Mark's money trail?
A drug made by a company called Genentech received FDA approval on Friday for a new cancer drug.
The approval went against the recommendation of the FDA advisory panel
Also a panel of outside FDA advisers voted against the drug and said it had toxic side effects.
Genentech said that the drug did not increase life expectancy.
It is an injectable drug, which cost $100,000 for a year's supply.
