The full Moon is going to get totally eclipsed, putting on a gorgeous show as it glides through Earth's shadow.
Sky watchers in Maysville will get an excellent view. Unless the clouds show up.
In the Buffalo Trace Area, the eclipse happens during convenient evening hours tomorrow night, when people are up and about getting wood for the fireplace.
Earth’s shadow will totally engulf the Moon from 10:00 to 10:52 p.m. The partial phases of the eclipse last for about an hour and a quarter before and after totality.
happy moon-ing.....lol

It's pretty clear right now, and it's partially covered at 9:21 pm. My kids are excited.

I didn't even know there was one until I stopped a person for speeding on KY 9 and they said they were not paying attention because they were watching the moon? So I looked up and we gazed at it a few moments together and then I told them it was probably safer to watch the road as they were traveling down it and to have a safe night. Probably will be one of my more favorite excuses.

Racing with the Moon? Wasn't that a movie? On a side note, it was a nice show. The eclipse that is.

Good photos, folks. It was a lovely show. I took about 30 photos and made a collage of the best.
