Fleming County Police -- ALERT

Police in Fleming County are searching for a man who they say shot three people, two of which were killed.

Police say they are looking for Roy Pollard Jr., who is accused of killing two people after a shooting around 7:30 Friday evening on Sugar Tree Branch and Muses Mill Rd in Muses Mill. Kentucky State Police say he shot and killed Jason Thompson and his aunt. They also say he shot another person who was taken to the hospital in Flemingsburg. K.S.P. also believe that this man may have taken his pregnant ex-wife hostage and into the woods.

Police have evacuated the area and called in the SWAT team. They say they are searching for Pollard but are having difficulty finding him because of the mountainous tree covered terrain. Kentucky State Police believe he is armed with a shotgun and a rifle.

Currently Choppers are in the air searching. The one person that was shot is in very serious condition. Location is actually at Sugar Tree Branch and Ryan Rd.

I live in Fleming Co. its a mad house here police and law enforcement are everywhere they have advise all young kids to head home.

This is absolutely nuts, what is it with psychos & pregnant women? I was just watching Anderson Cooper & he said the stats say the #1 cause of death for pregnant women is murder....

Hope he's found and dragged home to be locked away for life. I'll keep my eyes open, and cell phone on incase.

Updated headlines read that he's been caught and the hostage is safe, but you read the article, it only says the hostage is safe and nothing about him being caught..

Such a tragedy....I am glad the hostage is safe or at least away from him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family of those who were lost and the one who survived.

Yes he has been. And believe it or not Fleming Co. Has allready started the trial. It was in todays paper.
