To get healthy. I spent 2007 sick and stuff. But not this year. I'm starting my healthy resolution tomorrow by having surgery. Then when it warms up outside this gal is walking and enjoying the things i didn't get to enjoy last year. so my resolution is not to let fibro and other things stop me from having fun !!!!!!!!

Again, lose weight. I have big events this year & I'd like to not look like this. I love to walk but I also love to eat--that's a problem. I'd love to have someone to walk with since everyone always backs out on the plan. Quitting smoking was hard to do but that's been over & done with for 5 years now. I wish you luck with it-it can be done. Cold turkey ( & prayer) is what worked for me. For months afterwards though, I would find myself reaching for a cigarette or making the motions of going to my mouth with my fingers poised to take a drag. It gets better. Other resolutions include spending more time with friends & family, getting more things accomplished in general & doing what God wants me to do with my life.

LOL...all of those aren't mine :fear:, I just need to quit smoking. They're the top 10 most popular that most people make. I found them on some site the other night.

Well lets see. About 8 or 9 years ago I made a resolution that I kept. Other than that I've always broken them. So I chose not to make a resolution for the new year. I will try also to be a better person and enjoy life more, and other than my children I will please myself a heck of alot more and worry less about what others think or about pleasing everyone else. 2008 is MY year.
At this exact time last year I was lying in a hospital bed starting out 2007 feeling very ill. I sure hope my health improves and my diabetes is well controlled.

I made some, and I can't remember what I made! So I guess I won't be keeping them...or breaking them...gaa, this is confusing

Stop procrastinating... which is why I finally got around to posting mine today :)
The two big ones are:
Surround myself with positive people who feel that life is an adventure, full of mystery, and worth pursuing, people who are as motivated and engaging as I am (or as I would like to be).
Continue to care about the people who occasionally float through my life that are either miserable by design or circumstance, but remain detached enough that their reality does not become my own (while realizing that this is harder than it sounds).
