ROCKNE RIDDLEBARGER SCALE MODELS
NOW ON DISPLAY AT THE KENTUCKY GATEWAY MUSEUM CENTER
The Kentucky Gateway Museum Center is pleased to host the scale model collection of Mr. Rockne Riddlebarger. Mr. Riddlebarger is a member of the Cincinnati Auto Replicas Model Club and is their incoming Vice President.
"I have been building scale models for about 20 years, and I have won over 50 awards in shows or contests over the last two years. Several of his models have been featured in international model magazines. I prefer to build models that look as if they have had a hard life or work, or play."
Mr. Riddlebarger utilizes techniques that create the look of rust, dents, mud and dirt that make styrene plastic models appear to be made of metal.
He hand makes most of the detail items that are part of his landscapes and helps the models tell a story. The cars will be on display through Christmas.
The Museum is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 until 5, Saturday from 10 until 4 and Sunday from 1 until 4.
