Has anyone other than me noticed the change at Golden Dragon? Is there new owners now? The past few timees i have been out there on the weekend i have noticed there is different ppl working in their and they dont put out as much crab like they used too and also the food isn't as fresh. That was my favorite place to eat until now... Anyone know where there other owners went to, if they opened a new one up??????

Yes, there are new owners. I believe it is the original owner's sister and family. Supposedly, the other owners went back to China.

Go figure....I've always heard that the foreigners who own businesses in the USA get tax breaks for so many years and and when the time for the tax breaks runs out they "sell" the business to another family member who comes to the US to take over and then the tax breaks start over. Wouldn't it be nice if we Americans got a tax break to open a business in our own country. All I get is taxed! and taxed and taxed!!!!
I'd say that is what has happened here. I don't eat there myself. I like Chinese food, I just don't eat there for personal reasons.

I don't know if they have much seafood but the China Garden (in front of Walmart) is where we usually go. They do have shrimp and some crab-meat but I don't usually eat there in the evening so I don't know if they do crab legs.

On the weekends they have crab legs because my son can eat them out of house and home on those crab legs.

Yes, ownership has changed hands, but the past owners did NOT move back to China like someone had posted. Amy and Charlie Wang do still live in the Maysville area. I do know this for a fact.
