With many new changes happening in the Mason County Sheriff Office, how do you rate our new Sheriff.
Here are a few facts that might help you decide your vote.
Sheriff Boggs has implemented a new computer system to help better assert the productivity for the deputy's in the functions of there jobs increasing communications with local police as well as with the State.
Sheriff Boggs is implementing a Computerized Tax Collection Computer System that will help stop the long lines and waits at the Sheriff Office during Tax Season.
Sheriff Boggs has increased Officer and Public Safety. He has done this by hiring more Deputy's. Improving Equipment and supplying his Deputy's with some of the latest tools available. This will not only help in solving existing crimes, but will be geared to help his department become more proactive against crime in the future.
The most amazing thing Sheriff Boggs has done is accomplished this in 9 short months. He has been actively pursuing grants and other resource monies available to keep his Office in line with his current budget. This means that we basically won't have a major tax increase due to the Sheriff Office.
Sheriff Boggs has opened a new line of communication. He is most usually always available to anyone for Question, Comments and Suggestions.
Chief Deputy Chuck Fritz is a major part of the backbone for the MCSO. I might call him Patrick's right hand man and he fills the shoes with dignity.
The current project which involves many members of the Sheriff Office is the http://www.masoncountysheriff.net Web Site. The web site is available for viewing but will not be full functional till close to the end of this year.
The site promises to be informative as well as supply current State required information such as Delinquent Taxes and Grant Status. Be sure to check it out regularly.
Sheriff Patrick Boggs and Chief Deputy Chuck Fritz regularly visit The BBS so feel free to leave a comment. He will be glad to hear you comments and suggestions.
