........I would love to see this thread stay around for a while & have lot's of posts on it.

So..............Has anyone done something nice for you lately?? If so, would you let us know what?? Remember this thread & please share it with all to see.

For example...... you are driving thru the drive thru at McDonalds & the person in the car ahead of you bought your breakfast without your knowledge.
Maybe someone helped you change a flat tire today.
Maybe someone gave you a compliment today.
Maybe you really wanted to go to a Red's game & had no tickets. Suddenly a friend calls you up & ask you if you are available & want to go to a Red's game.
Maybe someone helped "jump" your car battery this morning.
It could be something simple as a coworker emptying your trash can or taking your phone calls when they noticed you were busy.

These are only examples & I know others has some too. I would love to read about some good deeds performed by our fellow man & who knows, maybe others will be blessed reading the responses.

I'll get it started.

Several weeks ago, my wife & I attended a VBS in our community for five evenings helping with their snack time. Our VBS program starting a few weeks later was modeled after theirs. As directors of our church's VBS, boy....we watched their program with great intensity. I asked a friend working a shop there that built a certain craft from wood how he built over 100 of those quickly.

He described to me how he built them from 1" X 12" boards using a table saw.

About a week before our VBS started July 22, I walked to my vehicle after work one afternoon & there was a Walmart sack in my front seat. It had 129 of those wooden crafts in it ready to go for our VBS program! WOW, this fellow cut those crafts out without us knowing anything about it!

Talk about doing something nice! We were truly blessed with his generosity!

OK gang, lets try it.
Does anyone have a example or a story or a good deed they wish to share?? ...........see ya mark

Ok I will post next, I guess..lol

A friend of mine (who doesn't even go to church, or ever has that I know of) helped me with Bible School all week. It was a big responsibility for her to take on, and she volunteered without even thinking about it. I don't know what I would have done if she wasn't there to help me, and I feel blessed to have her as my friend! I just hope it had a good influence on her, and that she will try it again soon!

Thanks for posting. My wife & I too were blessed with lot's of helpers at our VBS a few weeks ago. I mentioned one in the original post but there were a lot of others.

We had about 30-31 adults helping out & they all sacrificed from 5:45pm till 8:30pm from 7/22 to 7/26 helping 80-90 kids learn about what it was like living in Galilee in Jesus' time. Those kids made sandals, necklaces, real mussel shell windchimes, rope belts, wooden boats w/sails & other things.

These folks were a true blessing & without them, VBS wouldn't happen...........see ya mark

Sorry Mark, still nothing and it's been a week now.

.......and that's so sad ponto.

It's truly becoming a "me" world instead of a "we" world isn't it? ..........see ya mark
