Larger than normal crowds are attending today's customer appreciation day..

The extension office and the Beef Council have teamed up to cook some beef and the Ag Alliance has a booth set up. They will be cooking until 2 PM.

The selection of fresh veggies gets better and better each week. For those of you who like fresh corn on the cob, today is the day to shop at the market .

The local farmers appreciate your business so be sure to stop by and get your fresh locally grown produce.

We went today and got 4 dozen ears of corn so we could freeze some for the winter and many other things including a very large German tomato. Only cost $24 dollars which I thought was reasonable prices for 6 bags worth of veggies! I bought corn from the market last year and it was better than any store bought. I'm sure the same can be said this year if it tastes as good as it looks.

Just curious as to when is the farmers market open and where is it located at?

I may be wrong, but I believe they are open every Tuesday - and they are set up in front of the old boys club.
