A publishing firm in the United States has vowed to crack down on alleged material from the new Harry Potter book which has appeared on the internet.

Scanned pages of what may be the entire text of the final instalment of JK Rowling's series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, were circulating yesterday among web users.

The much-vaunted chamber of secrecy surrounding the contents of the seventh and final novel in the Harry Potter series appears to have been broken via the magic of the Internet.

Photographs of what seem to be all 784 pages of the U.S. edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling began to circulate on numerous file-sharing websites Tuesday. The photographs appear to be of two-page spreads of the novel's entire text, including epilogue, shot by a digital camera of a book laid out on a rug.

I saw this, and did absolutely nothing to find, or download it. I'm getting it by Amazon.com, and I think all fans of this great series should do the same to flip off this perp.

Of course, you know the day after it's released, every potter fan will know the final fate of Harry. They'll jump back to the end of the book, then start blabbing to the internet.

I think that's what's scaring the publishers even more :)

But I'll read the entire novel anyway. It's not the ending that makes the book, but the entire thing.

Great series, Ms. Rowlings, it was a great ride.

OK, I freely admit to the fact that I am a huge Harry Potter fan and absorb every tidbit I can get, except when it comes to spoilers for the books. I actually have my whole weekend reserved to read it straight through from beginning to end and there will be no flipping to the last page to see how it ends first. That's cheating. LOL! Not to mention that it takes all the fun and enjoyment out of reading the book. Every time something pops up about Deathly Hallows on the Internet, I avoid it like the plague and I plan on completely staying away from the TV and the computer once the book hits the shelves at midnight on Friday until I have finished it sometime Saturday. I don't want to know who dies before I come to it, that would just ruin it for me. When I read a book I want to become immersed in the story and let the plot unfold. It's the same as trying to watch a movie you've been dying to see and having someone come in and sit down next to you and start saying things like, "Don't get to attached to his character he dies in 5 minutes" or "Wait until you see the ending, they blow up the entire town!" That kind of thing ticks me off to no end. Now my Husband is a different story, he'll no doubt have already read the last few pages before he brings me a copy on his way home from work. But he is smart enough to know that to even so much as breathe a word about what happens will more than likely get him killed. LOL! As for all the online junk about find out who dies and read it online, I just don't care. The only details of the story I'm going to believe are the ones I read with my own eyes when I get my hands on an actual legally published copy of The Deathly Hallows. Until then, I consider anything else to be pure speculation and false information. No matter how authentic some of the stuff coming out looks, I want to hear it straight from the horses mouth; J K Rowling herself.

JK is a very talented writer and I wouldn't download something that wouldn't give her credit for her work either...... I have all books and read them several time each.... it's an illness i guess..... she is just very good at what she does!!!!! I can't wait till her next series!!!!! I hear it will be something to read as the Harry Potter books are!!!!!!
