Sony shut down Grouper on Monday and replaced it with Crackle.com. (http://www.crackle.com/)
And it's not interested in people uploading kitschy video clips of stupid pet tricks or girls gone wild.
Crackle wants aspiring writers, producers, directors, artists and animators to file high-quality shows that someday might be true hits.
To entice top talent to submit quality video, Crackle will award $15,000 to the creators of top-rated videos -- as judged by Crackle's viewers -- every three months
Crackle launched with 12 individual channels, including animation, short movies, a comedy channel, music videos and stories from real firefighters.
