Ruggles Camp Ground will be holding its annual camp meeting from July 19 through July 29. This is the 134th year that the camp meeting has been held. An array of activities have been planned for the ten day spiritual festival with services held each evening at 7:30 p.m. Dan and Jeanie Frederick will serve as evangelists. Gary Biddle will be the music leader with Irene Bothman as the organist and Avenell Harrod the pianist.
A junior camp, under the direction of Ben Bowman will be held from July 18through July 22. The senior camp, under the leadership of Charlie Shoemaker will take place from July 23 through the 28th.
"Solid Ground" will present a concert on July 19th at the tabernacle.
From July 20 through the 28th, a morning Bible study will be conducted in the chapel. This will be at 10:30 a.m.
The annual picnic/auction will be held Saturday, July 21st. The picnic will begin at 11:30 followed by the auction at 1:00 p.m. All proceeds from the auction are used to maintain the campground. Bring a covered dish and come out and enjoy the fun.
A memorial service will be held on July 26th at 10:30 a.m. This service will be held in the Paul Brewer prayer chapel to pay tribute to loyal patrons of Ruggles Camp Ground.
