There was a great photo of two local farmers riding thru Old Washington in today's Ledger.
Maybe the Ledger will start posting more photos on their internet version of the newspaper.
They run an ad in the print version that says how important the internet version of the newspaper is, yet the web version lacks the personality of the printed paper.
Wake up Ledger, share some of those great photos with your online readers.
Thanks.

............I think they have waken up.
If pics are added to the internet, subscriptions would decline.
Remember...........always follow the money trail, you'll get to the answer............see ya mark

They recently installed comments to each article. That's pretty cool. Last year they installed AP videos to the front page. These are all things above and beyond print and are actually quite progressive for a small town newspaper.

Actually you can only display a link to video on any web site.
But I know what you mean about the photo content on the web matching the print version of the paper.
In many areas including Big Cities, the Internet is not set to replace "Dead Wood" yet. When the Internet is ready to take over paper I can guarantee you the tomorrow's News will be a Wal Mart Internet stock item. (Not meant as a new line of conversation)
The Ledger is poised for all content on their web site and live content to their web site. But I don't think they are ready for that commitment. A big part of their revenue comes from resale circulation and in my honest opinion the Internet would best serve them as a place to put content that won't work on paper.

Yes, yes I did. But you've got to play with it a bit to make it look like a television (http://www.jeremyparnell.com/media/). Side note: You've always been really into blogs, Ponto. When you put one up and share with us?

I live in Flemingsburg and I look at it every night when I get home because I can read the headlines of tomorrows paper. I love their website.
