The Orlando Magic are expected to hire two-time national champion Billy Donovan as their next head coach, the Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday. ESPN reports the deal is worth $36 million over 6 years.
This is just the latest of NBA job speculation attatched to the University of Florida coach.
Donovan has been the subject of NBA rumors since leading the Gators to their second consecutive national title in April. He spoke to Memphis Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley in the Orlando area shortly after winning the title, but Donovan said Tuesday that the conversation was ''very, very informal'' and that the men never discussed Donovan coaching the Grizzlies
