The Washington Lion’s Club is a service group committed to helping the less fortunate. They support the goals of Lions International, which includes the prevention of blindness and diabetes. The Washington Lion’s Club has also financed many improvements at the Maysville/Mason County Recreation Park and beautification projects for Washington. The club purchases eyeglasses for anyone who cannot afford them, provides clothing to needy families and finances numerous other charitable causes.
The Clubs ANNUAL EVENT is the ANTIQUE & CRAFT EXPO. It usually has over 100 vendors. Vendors come from all over the United States.
Persons interested in learning more about the organization are invited to attend a dinner meeting with the club at deSha’s at 7:00 pm on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
