Asking people in New York? Have they reopened this case? Have they asked for help in all unsolved cases?
This should get very interesting.

Kdown might live in NY but is a loyal to Maysville. I wouldn't be surprised if the Kentucky State Police ask him for help. He knows just about everyone.

I think this post is a good find. Keep old cold cases alive. Maybe someday they will be solved.

I remember this happening. And I think he was probably killed to keep from identifying who robbed him. Makes me wonder if the robbers knew him. But there is something in the back of my mind that there was something more to this. But then, my mind has faded an awfully lot since then.

tkcomer, you're correct. There was something more but KSP would not discuss. I remember the day very vividly. Shock to the community and a lot of whispers. Lets see where this goes.

I've tried to find out things about my fathers case, but came to a dead end. A lot of people think he was murdered. I was 3 years old when he died in Orangeburg.
I hope someone can help them solve that case. It's awful not knowing, especially if there is still family out there.
