VOLS TIE SCHOOL-RECORD FOR POINTS IN 121-86 TOURNEY WIN OVER LBSU
3/16/2007 - No. 25 Tennessee matched a school-record for points in a 121-86 NCAA Tournament first round victory over the Long Beach State 49ers at Nationwide Arena. Chris Lofton scored a game-high 25 points, JaJuan Smith 24 and Ramar Smith added 22 as the Volunteers also netted a school tournament record 14 3-pointers as Tennessee advances to play the No. 4 seed Virginia Cavaliers, Sunday at 12:10 p.m. ET.
