The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Sunday that 52,650 pounds of cooked chicken strips were being recalled because the chicken could be contaminated with listeria.
The chicken, made by Carolina Culinary Foods of West Columbia, S.C., is found in 6-ounce packages with the following text: "Oscar Mayer/Louis Rich Chicken Breast Strips With Rib Meat, Grilled, Fully Cooked - Ready To Eat."
The front of the packages bear the establishment number "P-19676." The use-by-date is "19 Apr 2007."
