"I'm sure they'll parachute him out of the roof for our game," LSU coach John Brady quipped. "We're just going to have to pay attention to him and guard him and put our best defender on him and give a lot of help off some screens and, hopefully from the layoff, he won?t be as sharp."
Tennessee was 1-3 in Lofton?s absence.

Even if Chris doesn't play, it shouldn't matter. LSU is terrible. Definetly not the final four team we saw last year. But then again it could be a good hard fought game. Because what you have are two teams that could possibly be on the bubble come tourney time in March. But I do hope Chris plays, it seems like he's been out forever.

Lofton started the game and was greeted with loud cheers when his name was announced in pre-game introductions.
He made an immediate impact, getting fouled by Garrett Temple while attempting a 3 on the Vols' first possession. He made all three free throws and had an assist on Tennessee's next basket. Lofton rested often and played 21 minutes.

The little slip he had, looked like it may have had an effect on his ankle. I don't think he's 100% yet. And UT should be careful, because they are going to need him big down the stretch. But credit to Bruce, he seemed to have a close monitor on Chris last night.
