OK this is more of a nuisance bug than an full exploit I just want to report on the 1st real listed exploit in Vista and the title really got your attention.

This exploit requires that you have speakers, a microphone and Voice Recognition System on, running and configured. You you then have to download an audio file or go to a web site that has an audio file that is setup to give your computer voice commands.

The voice commands would play through your speakers and then be picked up by your microphone. Your computer could then execute the commands. Commands like ?copy?, ?delete?, ?shutdown?, etc. and act on them.

It seems more of a nuisance than a damaging exploit. The commands issued would have to be recognized by the voice recognition system and could not be high end functions that require ownership or special permissions. Deleted file could still be recovered and you would have to be sitting in front of you computer allowing and watch the action happen. This means you would be able to stop it from causing any serious damage.

Thats the bulk of it. I would watch the news channels make a big deal of it over the next few days.
The bug was originally reported by the BBC News.

LOL, it was the best we could do for the 1st exploit. But hold on to your shorts. I assure you something better will be coming soon.
