For some, farm labor is a problem.

Did you know there is a government program that allows you to pay transportation cost to bring farm some farm workers from their "home" and return them to their "home" (sometimes this would be Mexico ) when the work season is over.

Once they arrive, you must pay them $8.14 an hour plus around $5.00 an hour in benefits including workers comp.

You must also provide housing according to government standards. (No cows within 500 feet of the workers bedroom.)

You must also provide transportation and tools while they are working for you.

You must also provide duplicate pay stubs and other paperwork as necessary.

And did you know, these H-2A workers are exempt from all federal and state taxes.
