I have just been informed that, due to sickness, Mason County Schools will be closed the rest of this week. This information is from the school itself and does include the Mason Co. Headstart. I'm not sure if there are any other schools in the surrounding area that are closed. The offical announcment is supposed to be on WFTM later today. Please be sure to keep an ear out. Thanks.

I was just trying to figure out how to put that on the front page. Great! I had knee surgery last Thursday, 2 out of 3 of my children were home sick last week..and I have class this week... ahhh the wonders of the flu!
I talked with Tanya at Head Start and Kelly at Straub, they both confirmed that all Mason County Schools are closed all week!!

He ran a fever of about 103. He was ackey and had a deep cough. He also had a sore throat and was congested and weezy. The doctor ran a test and confirmed it was the flu. He also had bronchitis with the flu. He only vomited one time when his fever was extremely high.

No Mason Co is in session this week 1/22 - 26 provided there is no snow. Besides, there is no ball game, so why would they be out? {snickers :p }
And as for the the fever thing, my son had it too fever so hot he got fever blisters on his lips. They were out 3 days.
