Dear Heloise: I have no room for a recycling system in our kitchen.
Our basement is unfinished, but I really didn't want to run downstairs each time I had something to dispose of, so I decided to use our stairwell. I just hang four plastic grocery bags on nails.
As each bag gets full, I move it to my car trunk and then take the bags to the recycling center. - Marion Maynard, Germantown, Ky.
