Thing to Expect @ The BBS in January

You can expect a minor design change from the original look of the site. There will be a major upgrade to the Back End Software, Arcades and Photo Gallery.

One day in a few weeks the BBS will be down for about 2 hours for these modifications and upgrades.

Important things will be:
1. All Pm's and other internal messengers will be completely cleaned out.

2. The Private Messaging system will be renamed to Member Messenger and will be used as a System Messenger as well.

3. Scores, Stats and Reputations will be cleaned out but rebuilt from the old database as soon as I get to it.

4. I will be taking recommendations for additional Site Managers. The current site managers will vote on who will become site managers in the future. I would like to have at least 10 new site managers by February 1st. Past managers that would like to return are welcome to request a reinstatement.

All this should only be a Minor inconvenience at times.

Thanks to all the members. Without a membership there is no site. Remember it is the Members that make this site. Not the Admins or Site Managers. I look forward to serving you for another year.

This is a great site. I think I'm addicted to it. I almost always check it out first thing in the morning and right before I go to bed - not to mention the times I'm on there during the day. Thanks to everyone who contributes. It just keeps getting better!

1. Private Messages have all been cleared. Make a not that it says private message but it is really a member to member messaging system.

2. Arcades are complete. My version was lacking many updates and features. Since the Arcades are a BIG hit I went with a commercial package.
(There is a "Your Settings" Button to set up how you want the arcades to display and send notices to you). Arcade Scores will be zeroed out every month!!!!. Some people will like this some will not. I need it done to help east the strain on the database.

3. The New Look is set. The skin has a few bugs, still but I am getting to them.

I love the site. Even the acid house banana Smilies.

They have me :Banane44: with joy. I think this site is great even when someone makes me want to :Banane36: or :attention: or I wish I could :croc: their head off. But that stuff rarely happens. I am also glad that we have mostly civil discussions on here and there is not a lot of :argue:

Oh, PS: I had to have a PS 'cause I could only use 5 Smilies in the last message. I also want to say that all the site managers deserve :adore: Now, I am off to :bathbaby: and go to sleep if the college kids across the street are not still practicing the :drum: They have a band. I am all for supporting art but when they practice at 8:30 p.m. it makes me have a very unhappy face. Still, that's better than these kids who drive by with their boom stereos blasting at 11:00 p.m. That makes me very :mad: and makes me want to :Banane36: someone.
