Mulligan Farm hosted their Family Fun Day on Saturday. Just a short drive north of Maysville, the Russellville Ohio farm was transformed into a delightful venue of sights and sounds.
Upon arriving I was greeted by the hosts and taken on a tour of the newest attraction in the area. They have a petting zoo, antique shop, and lots more.
I had been informed in advance that the farm had a very gentle horse, and the saddle of choice was a McClellan saddle. After a short ride around the farm, I too had become a fan of this older style saddle.
Does anybody have a McClellan Sadle for sale?
Two vendors from the Maysville area were in attendance. Ernie from The Home Front Café and Robert from the Herb Farm @ Strodes Run shared stories of life in Kentucky with the Ohio visitors.
If you are driving on Highway 62 off of Highway 68 in Ohio, be sure to pull over when you see the Mulligan Farm Sign.
