One day after voters returned him to office, an exhausted Geoff Davis began shifting from campaign mode back to his role as congressman and started preparing to get back to work in Washington.
For his part, Davis said one of the first things he hopes Congress can do when it gets back to work next week is to complete several appropriations bills before the end of the year.
One bill contains a local project, including money for a community health center in Mason County.
