Define change. What do you think needs to be done differently? Every decision the current Fiscal Court has made has been in the best interest of the citizens of Mason County. So many wonderful projects have been funded, county roads are maintained year round, city water and sewer systems brought to county residents, etc. The list goes on and on. It is funny to me that there are a few people wanting "changes" or don't like the decisions the Fiscal Court has made, but they never show up at any Fiscal Court meetings to voice these concerns. Amazing.......... Bear Finn and the current Fiscal Court have done more for this county than any other Fiscal Court in years past. Go Bear!!

other than the garbage issue and the landfill what has been done

Well lets see.......New water lines for county residents...97% of the homes in Mason county now have running water: new sewer systems, new and affordable elderly apartments, countless contributions to the arts commission, the recreation park, Tom Brownings Boys and Girls clubs, etc. They have maintained the county roads at the highest level. The Fiscal Court has secured funding to preserve important Underground Railroad sights in the county such as the Bierbower house, the Minerva Baptist church, and to preserve the Elijah Green sight. The Fiscal Court has a balanced budget every year despite the fact that the State has cut over $1,000,000 of Mason County's budget. A reduction in state money for the jail of about $700,000, and a reduction in state money for mineral tax. The county has absorbed over $1,000,000 worth of revenue and approximately $500,000 in mandated expenses without compromising any services to the community.
The county is in better shape than it has every been. Bear Finn is part of the reason why. This is a tough job, that requires hard decisions.
Re-elect F. J. Bear Finn to ensure that the county continues to move forward and provide excellent services to the citizens of this community.
