A schoolteacher from Fleming County traveled for hours believing he had lured an innocent minor into a sexual relationship.

Instead in true made for TV fashion, 24 year old Stephen Duncil was arrested.

Mug shots for the men arrested are also available. (Click here, 1.9MB PDF) (http://kentucky.gov/NR/rdonlyres/F1293487-7709-49FB-ADD5-90AA9B57614F/0/predatormugshotsoct2006.pdf)

The child sexual predator investigation continues as KBI agents, together with other law enforcement agencies, continue to investigate more than 50 other individuals who solicited sex online from the underage decoys.

People always say stuff like this, yet . . . Okay, this is going to sound bad and perhaps sexist, so everyone be prepared.

I know that Duncil, the guy mentioned here, was teaching at an elementary school, so he was teaching really young kids.

However, in my opinion and in my experience, *most* men would be willing to have "relations" with underage girls if it wasn't illegal, and several do even though it is illegal. (While this "urge" may also be present in women, as is evidenced in our judicial system, it is far, far, far less common among us -- and I do not believe all the scientific hookum about the male "drive.")

I have always wondered why churches don't put more time and effort into dealing with that particular problem. And why don't they throw more fits about the sexualization of young girls and teenage women in our culture? Seems like only we liberal feminists really throw fits about that . . .

Steven Duncil has been sentenced to five years probation after being busted in an Internet sex sting last October as posted in this thread.

Duncil pleaded guilty last month to felony charges of unlawfully using electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual acts and unlawful transaction with a minor.

The plea deal in addition to five years probation specifies that Duncil is required to undergo mandatory drug testing and have limited contact with juveniles.

Well, Well isn't jsut wonderful how the judicial system works....IT sucks on things like this. Remember the little girl that was raped and buried alive by a sex offender, I believe in Flordia..This is just uncalled for. He should be on the Sex Offender Registry and be orderd to not be in 1000' of any child.
