Our son has needed to go to Shriners in Lexington since Sept. of 2002, which was a week after he was born. He was born with clubfoot, which is a congenital deformity of the foot, usually marked by a curled shape or twisted position of the ankle, heel, and toes and Shriners made sure to see him right away so the problem could be fixed as soon as possible. He went through a series of casts until he was two months old and then had to have surgery on one foot. He then had to wear braces for the next 3 months full time and of a night time for a year later. Shriners and all of its doctors and staff are wonderful. They not only helped our son, but we didn't have to pay for anything. All of the people there have become like family. I'm glad there are places like this for children and we thank them everyday for the help and support that they have shown to our family.

I was a patient at Shriners as well. I received care from them since I was 2 months old till I was 21. What a great organization. Please, lets all support them as much as week can. Thanks for the men who volunteer their time.

Thanks, Jim
