Residents of downtown Maysville seemed to have mixed feelings regarding the Rosemary Clooney Concert, which shuts down Third Street and part of Market Street each year.

The downtown festivities are a great happening in Maysville, I hope everyone takes the opportunity to get downtown at some point during the weekend to participate in some way.
And don't forget, it is for a good cause, proceeds benefit the Rosemary Clooney Concert Foundation with a donation to the Rosemary Clooney Fund for Pulmonary Research.
See you there............................

I just wish that when they close Third Street at Limestone they would set the light on flashing. Now you have all the Third street traffic comning up McDonald Pkwy and up Limestone and sitting at that light, which, btw, doesn't stay green very long. Traffic is stopped at the red light , while it is green for traffic on Third Street, and there is no traffic on Third going east and very little going west and turning onto Limestone.
Yesterday it was a mess. Traffic backed up from Third St. on Limestone all the way to McDonald Pwky and around the corner on McDonald Pkwy.
We've had this festival how many years now? You would think they could co-ordinate the street closures with the traffic signals so that things would run smoother.

I agree with the traffic situation, it is terrible. I think the Festival is a good thing, but I would really like to know who profits from this and why it is never published as to what this and that cost and the profits made and how much was donated for the cause. People pay big money for some of these tables. If it has been published, then excuse me. Also I MISS COURT DAY!
