ColorFall Program Tracks Foliage Changes and Events Across State
Kentucky’s 21st year of celebrating nature’s autumn beauty with the ColorFall program is here. This year promises a season of dazzling foliage and many entertaining events and activities inviting residents and visitors to get outside and enjoy the beauty of fall in the Bluegrass State.
The Kentucky Departments of Tourism and Parks are once again coordinating the program, which provides weekly updates on the leaves’ color changes and special events in four regions of the commonwealth. Naturalists throughout the state report the progress of the spectacular changes that grace landscapes from the Appalachians in the east to the western lakes region.
The public may obtain foliage updates by visiting www.kentuckytourism.com in the near future and clicking on the ColorFall link on the homepage or by calling 800-225-8747.
