What is Turner Swap?
The Motorola DCT6412 III has 2 built in Tuners. This is what allows you to record 1 show while watching a second show. You can also record 2 shows at once.
The Tuner Swap Button allows you to switch back and forth between the 2 Tuners.
Advantage is that you can swap back and forth between to shows or games you are trying to watch live.
1. Press the 'Cable’ button at the top of the remote.
2. Press and hold the 'Setup’ button until the 'Cable’ button blinks twice.
3. Type in the code 994. The 'Cable’ button again blinks twice.
4. Hit (Do Not Hold) the 'Setup’ button
5. Enter in 236 (Activation code for Swap)
6. Press any button you want "Swap" to be. I made the "B" button my swap button.
This does not modify any code on the Motorola DCT6412 III. It only activates an existing code built in to the Motorola DCT6412 III.
OK, So I sit around for hours each day pushing buttons on a remote control to see what they do.
