I am obviously running the Motorola DCT6412 III. I am running the basic digital package with the HD channels.

My TV is a Sony KDS 55a2000, LCoS, SXRD™. (A 55" Sony Wide Screen)

I am hooked up using the HDMI connectors.

I am running the 5.1 Digital Stereo through the Digital output on the TV to the digital input on my Pioneer Receiver.

PQ - Picture Quality is unbelievably AWESOME in both SD and HD. Sound is a little week but will fix that.

What are you running?

Oops, I missed this thread. I’m using the pb/pr/y connections to go to my Sony KP-53HS30. That goes into the video 5 slot. I then split the audio outputs and run them in conjunction with the S-video link to a Pioneer DMR-ES20 DVD recorder. It goes into the video 3 slot on the TV. This way I can record off of the Motorola. I also split the cable coming into the house. One goes to the Motorola and one goes to the coax connection on the TV. I can now record two programs at once and watch a third. On other times, when the Motorola starts to record, it wants to force me to choose between what I’m watching (Canceling the recording) or watching what I’m recording. It does this quit often, though not all the time. I haven’t figured that one out. I use the sound out on the TV to go to my sound system. This way you can choose between the TV’s speaker or the sound system. Great if one is in bed and the other is up. Last, I have a Sony DVD player. It goes into the Video 1 slot on the TV. The sound on it goes directly to the sound system. A lot of wires to keep track of. So far, what I copy off of the Motorola has been pretty darn good with the Pioneer. I just wish the programming guide was a little bigger. Displaying only 4 channels at a time? Takes a lot of screen changes to see what all is on. That and the digital channels have different screen sizes for different things. Some are like watching a DVD, but some shrink the screen down to about 40”.

I think I'll let the burglars figure out what I have when they get here... and meet my dog :D

No offense but its probably not a good idea to provide a public cheat sheet.

Public Service Announcement.

You got a point Jeremy. If people know what you got then they are likely to try to get what you got. The less people know the better off they are.

I have this TV I've had for years and my dish network and internet with windstream. All that other stuff you said don't make sense to me so I would not be interested in coming after it and you said you have guns. Never bring a bad temper (which I have) to a gun fight. I see a TV I want and I buy it, I don't understand all SD, HD, R2D2, F3, S69, and all that junk. Then I get it home, or no they deliver it and hook it up and I watch it from time to time. I am not very electronically inclined and not interested in becoming so.
