The Motorola DCT6412 III is the DVR, HDTV Receiver supplied by Limestone CableVision to access their Digital and HDTV signal.
The Motorola DCT6412 III allows you to receive and record programming through the cable for your TV viewing pleasure.
The Motorola DCT6412 III hooks up almost every conceivable way. It offers you up to 5.1 digital audio, HDMI, DVI, Y Pb Pr, Composite and strait through cable.
Motorola DCT6412 III has a 120 gig Hard Drive for 100 hours of SD recording and up to 30 hours of HD recording.
Here are some term:
SD - Standard Digital or Standard Definition (480i)
HD - High Definition (480p, 780i, 780p, 1080i, 1080p)
DVR - Digital Video Recorder (Records TV Programing to a Hrad Disk for later viewing)
