At the time of her arrest, Hilton was driving home in her Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

Her spokesman, Elliot Mintz, confirmed the arrest.

"She's absolutely fine," Mintz said. "She didn't appear in the least bit to be intoxicated."

The driving under the influence symptoms were "probably the result of an empty stomach and working all day and being fatigued," Mintz said.

Thanks for noticing, not a God thing, more like combining two words that have not been placed together before.

Radio talk show host Barry Farber would often say, "I am the world's foremost expert on my own opinion". This highlights the fact that a maven being self-appointed, following his advice is an act of faith.

Malcolm Gladwell used it in his book The Tipping Point to describe those who are intense gatherers of information and impressions, and so are often the first to pick up on new or nascent trends.

The popularity of the work of Safire and Gladwell has made the word particularly widely used in their particular contexts.

Gladwell also suggests that mavens may act most effectively when in collaboration with connectors - i.e.: those charismatic people (like Chuck and the BBS) who have wide network of casual acquaintances by whom they are trusted, often a network that crosses many social boundaries and groups.

Connectors can thus easy and widely distribute the advice or insight of a maven.

All great for Maven.

The word Laureate which is dirived from the word lauren which is a leaf. The leaf that was used to give Mecury his "God Powers" or what made him a God.

So know combining the 2 definitions I come up with:
You are a self appointed "GOD",,, lol

Upon reading up on Laureate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poet_Laureate), I found that some Poet Laureates were paid for their work.

The salary has varied, but traditionally includes some alcohol.

Paris would be proud................
