Maysville – Mabel C. Glenn, 85, of Lexington Street, passed away Saturday July 29, 2006 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Marion Russell Glenn, Sr. who died July 19, 1978.
Mabel was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church and at one time had been a waitress at Jolly’s Restaurant, Aberdeen, OH and at Kilgus Drugs in Maysville.
Mrs. Glenn was born July 24, 1921 in Maysville to the late Ralph Henry, Sr. and Grace Lyons Breeze.
She leaves her daughter Sue (Lloyd) Black of Aberdeen, OH; a stepdaughter Libby Sue (Jack) Brammer of Maysville; two stepsons Russell Glenn, Jr. of Maysville; James A. Glenn of Tennessee and a Grandson Brandon Lloyd Black.
Mable also is survived by three sisters Jean (Gene) Lykins of Mason County; Evelyn Lyons of Waverly, IL; and Mary Breeze (John) Marshall of Felicity, OH; a brother Johnny (Carrie) Breeze of Maysville and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Breeze was predeceased by two brothers A. D. Breeze, Ralph H. Breeze, Jr. and a sister Lelia Breeze.
Graveside services and interment will be 1 pm Wednesday August 2, 2006 at Maysville Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Ripato Officiating.
Brell & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.

.............Oh, I will really miss her.

I use to give her a "hard" time on the mail routes & she loved it.

She was a "barrell" of fun! ............see ya mark

I will always love my Aunt Mabel. She would be my second Mother every summer that I can remember during my childhood. My Mother would send me to stay with my cousin Sue. I loved those summers.

Aunt Mabel could make the best Mashed potatoes! She dared you to find a single "lump" in them!

Aunt Mabel would let Sue & I dress up in her old curtains and clothes and shoes and we would entertain ourselves for hours.

The old memories go on and on. I could list many of them.

Aunt Mabel had a wonderful family. I can still see vividely in my mind the farm her parents had. I have wonderful memories from there.

I am sure she and my mother (her sister-in-law from her first marriage) are rejoycing together in heaven!
